Jeff Kennedy showed up to his first appointment with a cancer doctor already knowing exactly how he was going to treat his chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a potentially fatal blood cancer.

There are many FDA-approved treatments, including chemotherapy, that are available. But Kennedy, who is in his mid-50s and lives in Boynton Beach, wasn’t interested in those.

His choice was Rick Simpson Oil, derived from marijuana plants. Through…

There is a simple but very important action that you can take. On August 16th, your voice will be needed to support the efforts of Alfred Robinson, who will be fighting for his rights and for the rights of us all to medicate without fear of prosecution. Please call and express your support. If you don’t know what to say, here is a suggestion:

“Dear sir, As our elected State Attorney, I encourage you to dismiss the charges against Mr. Robinson. It is a waste of our tax resources and is a burden on the system. Mr. Robinson should not be prosecuted for using cannabis as medicine, which 20 states, plus Washington DC, have now acknowledged as having legitimate medical use . Please have compassion and dismiss this matter.”

Bernie McCabe | (727) 464-6221

State Attorney
Pinellas and Pasco Counties
Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida

———————————————–

Come show your support for Alfred Robinson.

On August 19th at 9AM in the State of Florida, Alfred Robinson will fight not only for his right to use Medical Cannabis; he will be fighting for all Floridians and their rights to use Medical Cannabis.

This will be another historical moment for all Medical Cannabis Patients!

We really need to fill the court room for a show of solidarity. Alfred Robinson is a patient just like many if you, he simply wants his freedom to choose, to be able to choose Medical Cannabis over dangerous pharmaceutical’s. Pharmaceutical’s that kill over 100,000.00 American’s every year. And no one is ever prosecuted for those deaths.

We have tried to get this done the Political way, but it seems big pharmaceutical companies have their hands deep in the wallets of your elected officials, and lets tell the truth. There’s really no money in cure now is their?

So on August 19th in the county of Pasco, The State of Florida at 9AM Show your support for Alfred Robinson as he will use the Medical Necessity Defense

I am 54 years old. Three years ago I found out my COPD and emphysema had reached the moderate stage. My father died from COPD and emphysema so I knew of the suffering and the horrible side effects of the pharmaceuticals given for COPD and emphysema. In my research, I discovered the great benefits that cannabis has on COPD and emphysema.

The pharmaceutical medicines that are given to me as a broncho-dilator make my heart race, make me nervous, make me not be able to sleep, make me not feel like eating and just make me sick. Cannabis is a great broncho-dilator, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and helps me sleep and eat. It was my life saver. Not wanting to deal with the black market, I began to grow my own medicine a few months earlier.

The problem is I do not live in a state which recognizes the miraculous medicinal qualities of cannabis. I live in Indian River County, Florida. I am here because I was raised in Florida and my 87 year old mother lives two miles from me.

Arnold DiehlOn November 19, 2012, while I was at work (hence the paint on my face in the mugshot), the MACE unit of Indian River County knocked my door down and invaded my home, traumatized my pets and destroyed my medicine. I had a very small seven foot by seven foot room in my garage to flower my medicine. I am now being charged with felony cultivation. This is a victimless crime. I was hurting no one. Now, I am suffering because I have no medicine.

Eighteen states currently have workable medical marijuana laws, with 11 more (Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and New York) with currently pending legislation to legalize cannabis for medicinal purposes. Florida needs to be on that list. Help me fight for the cause. I am not able to have my medicine that allows for me to live a productive life. My family is suffering.

We must stand up for what we believe in if we are ever going to see a change. Do not take deals which turn patients into criminals for not wanting to take man made pharmaceutical poisons with their multitude of side-effects, instead of growing a plant. I have been a firm believer in the all-natural approach being involved in martial arts and health foods since the seventies.

Let’s have Compassion and stand up for Medical Necessity.

Thank You
Arnold Diehl

Supporters and friends time is now; this is an action alert for June 14, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. to help support Alfred Robinson and the unjust charges against him for the cultivation of cannabis. The hearing will be at Pasco West County Courthouse, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL. On June 14 Mr. Robinson’s defense will be arguing;

# 1. The search and seizure of Mr. Robinson’s plants was illegal and unconstitutional and a violation of his 4th Amendment Rights, this would result in dismissal of the charges.

# 2. The Defense we will be arguing that cannabis as a schedule I substance is unconstitutional vague, and irrational.

The argument is that Cannabis no longer fits in the definition of a schedule I substance, which is
defined as a substance which has a high potential for abuse and has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States and its use under medical supervision does not meet accepted safety standards.

There are over by over 600,000 people in the U.S. who use legally use cannabis.

These issues could change the laws in Florida once and for all if the judge grants the motion to dismiss. This could potentially be the gateway we need to legalize cannabis in the state of Florida for good. Granting the motion to dismiss would declare that the legislature by keeping cannabis as schedule I substance has violated your rights and that they must do something to change it. Until then cannabis would be an unscheduled substance.

Ladies and Gentlemen the time is now to act. Many people ask what they can do to help this cause, well this is it, support your fellow patients who are unfortunately facing criminal charges as a result of these absurd drug laws.

In addition, we would like everyone to call the Pasco county State Attorney, Bernie McCabe at 727-847-8158, on Tuesday, June 11th. Tell them you don’t want them to prosecute people like Alfred Robinson who are using cannabis for legitimate medical reasons. Let them know you believe it is waste of your tax dollars and you urge them to dismiss the case. Thank you for your time and attention and I urge every one of you will take action.
